My sympathies.

I work on the shop floor, it’s a night shift job but at christmas, it makes no difference.

Customers and managers are the worst in the service sector.

I don’t deal with customers (I be in jail if I had too), & my manager is decent. It my overly cocky co-workers that need to get their tits of of their ass that I have to deal with.

I’ve had some pretty great customers in the past to be honest but there are some I’d happily beat to death with their own arms.

I’ve idiot managers, but I get away with a lot because I’ve been there so long.

In the past I’ve said:-

‘no, I’m not calling you useless. You have a use, and that is showing to others how useless someone can be’.

‘if I tell you to f**k off, will you do so? and then keep f**king off? if you happen to make it back full circle, please, f**k off again’.

‘if I gave you a £20 note, will you go to a sex shop, buy a dildo and go f**k yourself and let me get on with doing my job’.

I was talking to a truck driver while he was unloading and a manager came up and asked why I was talking, I replied, ‘well while he’s loading the scissor lift, I can’t do anything till it’s on the ground for me to unload’. Then the truck driver put another cage on the lift and I looked up at him and pointed to my manager stood next to me and said, ‘this guy here is my manager, when he was a colleague he was a bit of a git from time to time, now he’s a manager his head is so far up his own arse you have to shout so he can hear you’.

I’ve got the that point that we’re I’ve been here long enough that I can tell him to f**k off & get away with it. They generally leave me alone after I give them some attitude. I’m a nice guy, but piss me off then you’ll get it served fresh.

I’m not one for confronting or generally being aggressive but there is a point I just say, ‘either you back off and leave me to do my job or I leave and then you have to do my job’.
